VANCOUVER, BC, AUGUST 28th, 2025 – TheNewswire - AMERICAN SALARS LITHIUM INC. ("AMERICAN SALARS" OR THE "COMPANY") (CSE: USLI, OTC: USLIF, FWB: Z3P, WKN: A3E2NY) is pleased to announce the results of an initial geological reconnaissance program at its Jaguaribe Project, located in Ceará State, Brazil.
During a one-day field visit, 14 previously unrecorded pegmatites were identified within the Valter 180 Project area. Despite surface depletion common to the region’s weathering, the discovery highlights Jaguaribe’s strong potential, consistent with nearby exploration success where lithium mineralization has been outlined through systematic mapping, geochemistry, and drilling.
American Salars CEO & Director R. Nick Horsley states, “The identification of 14 new pegmatites within our Jaguaribe Project is an exciting step forward. These discoveries validate the prospectivity of the region and give us confidence in the project’s potential to host a significant lithium-bearing system. With strong early indications, a supportive geological setting, and increasing interest from explorers across the district, we are well positioned to advance Jaguaribe with systematic work. These results mark the beginning of what we believe could be a highly rewarding exploration program.”
Initial assays from the program returned anomalous values in tantalum and niobium, elements commonly associated with lithium-rich pegmatite systems. The results confirm the project’s geological similarities to nearby pegmatite districts currently being advanced by other exploration companies. This discovery provides a strong foundation for the next phase of exploration, which will include detailed geological mapping, systematic geochemistry, trenching, and eventual drilling.

About the Jaguaribe Property
The Jaguaribe Property lies in a historic Brazilian pegmatite province previously mined for lithium, coltan, and tin. Initial sampling returned spodumene-bearing pegmatites grading up to 3.72% Li₂O with rare earth elements, and Phase 2 will test additional LCT pegmatite targets. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, being just four hours by paved road to the port and international airport in Fortaleza, and its arid farmland setting is sparsely populated, exploration-friendly, and well connected to North American and European battery chemical markets.
