Corani
About
The Corani Project stands as one of the world’s largest fully permitted silver projects, with both its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and construction permits already secured. The project encompasses three distinct zones: Corani Main, Corani Minas, and Corani Este. Significant development potential exists at Corani, particularly in the near-surface, silver-rich oxidized material. Under a revised development strategy, this oxidized material would be mined as the initial phase of production. Subsequent phases would focus on the extraction of deeper silver-lead-zinc sulphide resources, as detailed in the 2019 Technical Report. Bear Creek plans to integrate both phases into a comprehensive development strategy, with results to be presented in a new Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) anticipated before the end of 2024.
